So, I know a lot of people hate on rap nowadays. But the thing is. I'm ranting about how these amazing beats from some amazing producers are going to such terrible rappers. For example everything by Chief Keef. The beats are amazing. The mixing is amazing. Just the rapping sucks. really bad...

You dont listen to Chief Keef for lyrics, you listen to him to have a good time and get hyped. In trap music (which Chief Keef makes) the beats are supposed to be loud bangers, the beats are supposed to overpower the artist, hence the lyrics are so bad.

The one rap song that I actually like is "We Own It" By Wiz Khalifa and 2CHAINZ



Other than that, I dont really like rap.

Listen to old school hip hop.
90's and 80's and late 70's
that is truly when it was at it's prime.
back then hip hop was about the lryics and the flow. now its about kush and girls
