Ok thanks he can but its complicated first you start the game on your account then with a second controller sign onto his account and press start on the menu after he chooses his select storage device to save in and the game start you can sign out of your profile and he can play the game. steps must be made every time he wants to play it (exits the game)

HappyModder wrote I transferred licenses to my brother's Xbox awhile ago. I bought borderlands2 via the marketplace on my Xbox. I can't transfer licenses to another console for another month. Do I need to for him to play it on his Xbox? I'm downloading it to his Xbox know from my accounts download history if that makes a difference.

Why dont you start downloading things on his xbox first? Since its downloaded on his first, his console + hard drive combined have the license to that game and anyone on that console can play it without ur account, after you download it on his FIRST, then you download it on urs and you both have it! Does this make sense?
