If there is an infinite amount of parallel universes, what if dreaming is actually when we switch consciousness with ourselves from a different universe? What do you guys think?

Interesting, but why would we switch consciousness, and how would that work?

I've thought about this too..

But you know when you wake up, getting that heart attack almost feeling when you're falling or something, lots of people have those, would that mean you kill yourself in a parallel universe?

Holy sh-t, I thought I was the only one who had those. You kinda get light headed too, but I think killing yourself in a parallel universe is kinda jumping the gun. Its weird though.

I believe there is another 'realm' we delve into when we go to sleep & it is why we dream.

A very interesting theory, but it's just one of those things I don't think we'll ever be able to find out. A little like what happens when we die, life after death?

No when you start to fall asleep and have that felling it is because your muscles are starting to relax and your brain freaks out because of it causing you to wake up

I can get it in the middle of the night? When I've slept around 5 hours, pretty sure my muscles are relaxed by that time.
