Hello people of TTG,

I found my self thinking about this alot lately:

Does God exist?
Can we prove he does(n't) exist?
How is the World created?
Reasons to or not to believe.

If you're interested in this subject please read further and give your opinion when you ready because I put really much work in it. I'll split it up in two chapters, one chapter with why God does exist and the reasons andfacts. And one why he doesn't exist with facts and reasons.

God exists
Nothing can only create NOTHING what means, something can't come from nothing. (scientifically proven) So before the universe began, something must have Always existed. It's ENERGY. Energy is ETERNAL. The 1st law of thermodynamics confirms that. The law states: ''Energy can't be created or destroyed.'' No beginning or uncreated and no end. That's the definition of ''eternal''. You also can't claim that this energy Always existed IN the known Universe because science has proven the Universe didn't Always exist. This energy source was present BEFORE the universe began had to have power beyond anything we can begin to imagine, considering it had to transfer into the TRILLIONS of stars and BILLIONS of galaxies. A seperate ETERNAL energy source that exists OUTSIDE of the Universe had to have supplied or transferred it's energy into the Universe (because we know the Universe didn't always exist.) It's not unreasonable to assume this ENORMOUS energy was the creater God. There are two reasonable options to determine what WAS this powerful always existing energy. It could be a dumb, unconscious and vague energy source. However, this seems extremely illogical considering that we can observe complecity, order, and design troughout the Universe. The most logical answer would be that an intelligent mind constructed the universe, or a God. It's as simple as that... is it?

... another story

God doesn't exist
To prove God doesn't exist, ask one simple question to a person who believes in him: ''Is your God infinite?'' The potential answers the could give are: Yes or no. If they say NO, their God is not infinite, it is not beginningness and wouldn't be the first cause creator. If they say yes, their God is infinite then their God does not exist because something infinite does not remain within the Universe. The Bible says the world only exists for 6000 years, but how do you explain the giant dinosaur bones and fossils we found? It is scientifically proven that those fossils and bones are from more than millions even billions of years ago. If God created Heaven and Earth, where does the rest of the Universe come from? Also the Bible says Adam and Eve where the first people on Earth, than how do you explain other races? It also says Jesus could turn water into whine and could walk over water, if you where gonna buy a new car and the dealer said the car can fly you wouldn't believe it... why would you believe Jesus' story? Try this for example: Take 20 people, tell the first human a sentence like: ''I'm poor'', let him say this sentence to the 2nd person and the 2nd to the 3rd etc etc. Ask the last person the sentence, he should probably say something like: ''I'm rich, live in NYC and get laid every night.'' That could of happen to a baby called Jesus too, they changed the story so much till this came out from it, but that's just a theory.

I believe also that much people believe in God because of the following: One of their family members died, someone really dear. Like their grandma, nephew or even dog. They maybe feel alone, and that's why they pray and start believing in God. Because if you believe, God is Always there for you, in your head. Or when someone gets bullied alot and has no friends at all, they don't want to be alone, so that's why they believe. So they always have someone on their side. So at one point God exists, in our minds. Imaginary though but he is there.

So it CAN NOT be proven YET, if he exists YES or NO, because there are facts that say yes and facts that tell us no.

So it is scientifically proven God CAN or CAN'T exist I don't say he DOES but he CAN.

Please don't feel offended in any way if you're and if I did offend you with this post I'm sorry that isn't my meaning.

Let me know your opinions on God and why you think he does(n't) exist.

I honestly don't know wether I should believe or shouldn't. There are some good scientific facts for both stories sooo, yeah this was my post, hope it wasn't too boring and you guys learned something from it.

You do realize that energy and mass are pretty much the same thing. cough* e=mc^2, energy=mass x (3x10^8)^2.

Also it help to know that only 5% of the universe is actually matter, dark energy and dark matter are strong means of explaining the big bang and of which account to the other 95% of the entire universe.

I'm not arguing with you but just saying how some points can be discredited.

I don't believe in god simply because i can't put faith into writing.
I am Agnostic though. I will believe once i have undoubtable proof

Yes you're right, there are so many theories and so many scientifical facts that it's just one big mess.

For the record it actually has been proven that something can be created from nothing. It is an extremely rare phenomena, but is yet proven. Basically when something is created from nothing, they are created in pairs, for example an electron, and it's anti counterpart, a positron. As they are created together in close proximity, they are attracted to each other and annihilate each other instantly, therefore meaning there is no net gain in matter in the Universe, unless they are created in very special circumstances, of which I will not go into.

As for the first law of thermodynamics, that energy cannot be created or destroyed, this still holds strong, but does not support the argument that the Universe must always have been here, as before the Universe was created in the Big Bang (more correctly called the Great Inflation nowadays) there were no laws of Physics, as there was nothing for them to exist in. The laws of Physics were only created post-Big Bang.

As for the unbelievable amount of energy there was when the Universe was created, this was a direct cause of the Big Bang itself. Almost like the shockwave after an explosion, but on a much much larger scale. However the origin of the Universe is still full of questions, and we still aren't really sure what happened, and (obviously), why.

Unfortunately you cannot use the bible to discredit a so called creator or deity, the bible is very simply (sorry if this causes offence to anybody) a story book. As a lot of the stories told in the bible have been scientifically disproven, but yet this does not disprove the possibility of there being a creator.

I personally am an Atheist, and always will be (I assume). But yet the idea of a creator is extremely comforting to some people, to know that things happen for a reason, and there is a higher power that can look after your life. This is why I will never discredit someone for believing in God, because it is a way of life, and can give some people meaning, and a purpose in life.
For example, Albert Einstein believed in God, because he knew it was human nature to want to believe that there is a higher, all controlling power, and it was comforting to him, as it is so many other people on our planet.

Will we ever prove there is a God? My guess is no. And due to that, I believe there will always be religion throughout the Human race, as there is no real way that we can disprove a God. It is a persons choice to believe in a God or not, and I feel very strongly against the people who push their children into religion, just because they are religious. For example one of my friends is as much an Atheist as I am, however up until he was 18, his parents forced him to go to church most Sundays. This, in my opinion, is wrong. It is a persons choice to believe in a God, and they are completely welcome to believe what they want.

That's true, if you was gonna buy a car, and the dealer told you: ''Buy it! The car can fly!'' You wouldn't believe him right? You would probably say something like ''Show it'' and he couldn't. Same story.

So if something CAN come from nothing, doesn't that make God scientifically possible?

If a God used this phenomena to create something from nothing, there would barely be anything in the Universe, if you read the rest of what I said on that bit, the only things that are created from nothing are subatomic particles, I gave an example of an electron, as this is something people would be familiar with, but electrons would be far too big for this to happen.
Also when this happens, the particle is created with it's anti-counterpart, therefore both particles being annihilated almost instantaneously. If a Universe was created by a God in this way, it would be extremely inefficient, and a completely pointless exercise.

The bit i have bolded is a far as i have got, Please give an example, if you're electron spiel is an example, that is wrong. Electrons are energy, Energy cannot be created nor destroyed, only manipulated.

The reason i don't believe in GOD is because no one has ever seen him, or can prove he is real. If he was real why would people die at such young ages?
