Drug related suspensions have been going on in the MLB and a-rod could be next. Story here: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
If they impose the harshest penalties, A-rod could be done and lose $100 million owed on his contract.

Good he should be. And hey should pay back the organization every cent they ever wasted on him.

i realize that what he did was wrong, but idk why they would give him such a harsh punishment for something he did so long ago. (at least i dont think he has used steroids since he was on the rangers)

I hope he does get suspended for good. There's too many people using steroids and it's unfair to all the other players that are playing the right way.

I hope so. I have never liked that guy even when he was playing great with the Mariners.

Braun is a pathetic loser as well.

Anybody else on that list is most likely going to get suspended. ex: N.Cruz, G.Gonzalez

As a Yankee fan, good.

Cheating shouldn't be tolerated anywhere. I hope he gets what he deserves. They ban cheaters in CoD they should ban people who cheat in sports. Its a shame some people are so low they have to do that.

Ever cent they WASTED on him? A-rod was an amazing player and he still is. Doing performance enchaining drugs would ever change the way he played he was a leader for the team. And he played good ball, they didn't waste anything. If anything his contract should be discontinued.

Hopefully he does get banned so the Yankees won't have to pay anymore of that ridiculous contract.

The punishments are
1st time- 50 games
2nd time- 65 games
3rd time- possible lifetime ban

If you are that careless to go and do something that many times and knowing what could happen if you get caught than you should be lifetime banned. He could be used as an example for all the younger players like ryan braun to make them not want to use steroids anymore

Oh so that enormous contract preventing the Yankees to actually build there team with other players eg. Pitchers like they desperately needed wasn't wasting? Him giving them nothing but a bad name and tarnishing every bit of success they ever had with him wasn't a waste? Don't give me that that he was leader bs New York is jeters te and it always will be. And a man who lied and deceived his entire team is no leader. He's a coward and he deserves to be banned for life. and what do you mean he still is a good player? He's been garbage ever since the league caught him with that stuff. He's a poor excuse of a ball player is what he is.
