Im buying a new video card and thinking of getting the amd 7870 but im not sure if I should go for a 660 :S

The 7870 will be a better option than the 660 and the GTX760 is better than both, go for the GTX760.

If its a standard 7870 get the GTX660. The performance difference is marginal and the 660 has better power consumption. If you can get a 7870XT/LE then it would be worth it over the 660.
