My PC needs a way better video card because I have a crappy one

And it said I need to upgrade my processor...what is that?

may i ask what your budget is? because i may be able to suggest a better one then them two but they are decent gpus

oh and another thing a processor is a vital componant in your pc that processes everything you do to check it go to start>computer>right click on the white box>properties>tell me what your processor is (should be where the x.xx ghz is

No one seems to of asked what power supply you have in your rig as that is the main thing that will determine whether it works, or it fries the rest of the components.

Simply answering the question, the 670 is superior, but follow the precautions that the others have mentioned too.

Lets start from the beginning. DO NOT under ANY circumstances buy any new parts until you have taken these steps.
1. Open the case of your computer. This will most likely be the left side looking from the front. It will either have some thumbscrews holding it in place or it will just slide off.
2. Look at the large black cube at the back and either the top or bottom of your computer. This is the power supply. If it has a number on the side, tell us what it is. If not, take a picture of the inside of your computer and post it here.
These steps are important because if your power supply isn't up to scratch, then say bye bye to a new graphics card.
