Most gpus work on any motherboard as long as there is a PCIe x16 slot and if your power supply can handle it.

Graphics cards require a PCIe x16 slot. Newer graphics cards are PCIe x16 3.0 but they will work on PCIe x16 2.0. Just make sure that you have a power supply that can handle the card and that your motherboard has a PCIe x16 slot.

What card(s) are you looking at getting?

Just to be pedantic, cards don't need a x16 one, but in laymans terms the higher the number the faster performing.
