It will carry over, much as it did between RS1 and RS2, it is often misconceived that it didn't carry over, but then how would people have phats, considering they were released in 2001, and RS2 was released in 2005...? Dunno what I'm saying, I'm tired as hell, hope this helped...

There shouldn't be a reset, considering its similar to the movement from rs1 to rs2, so moving to rs3 should be no different. There is already a beta for members so, id advice joining that if you want to know more about it.
