K/D DOESN'T matter on Call of Duty because these days people boost to get their K/D high. People can have a 2.00 K/D and still be terrible

JFK- wrote I honestly see no point in it. If it is positive, good. If not who honestly cares? It gets annoying when you are having an argument with someone then they blabber on about K/D. I mean who cares? The point of a game is to have fun and not to get judged whether you get more kills than deaths.

And before all you kids who care about K/D flame, these are my K/D's for you to shutup over.

MW2: 1.14
MW3: 2.75
BO2: 1.50

K/D does not matter, and I hate it when I get judged on a K/D in a game. Example. I go 1-17 in a game of MW2 and someone will send a message saying that you're bad, you retaliate, like human instinct then they get K/D involved. No need people. No need.

This is getting more and more common, and as soon as I tell them K/D doesn't matter, they get sexist. It proves that they're immature boys who sit on Call of Duty all day doesn't it?

Personally, I think it matters on certain games in certain situations. Mine are as follows.

CoD4: 2.59
W@W: 2.49
MW2: 1.50 (Don't care about the K/D in that game, I just enjoy it and snipe).
Black Ops: 2.08
MW3: 1.08 (Just go for clips, don't care).
Black Ops 2: 2.67 on 1 account, 1.15 on the other.

Anyway, if you are a casual player, so be it, but I like to play Gamebattles, and I use my K/D to prove that I can play a good match on average.

You do not care about K/D but you felt the need to post your K/D anyway???

I'm sorry but this is the most over used retaliation on this forum, and half the time it doesn't even make sense.

It's not a point of a K/D existing, it's the point that people care about it too much and start problems over a number that really doesn't mean anything.

I understand what OP meant. However, let's face it, as a moderator you probably know this as much as I do, if OP didn't post their K/D, everyone would have said "You probably just go negative."

How else are you supposed to see how good someone is?

I see where you're coming from, but having one game where you go 1-17 isn't going to effect your k/d ratio if you have more then 5,000 kills.

I hate Call of Duty to be honest, but k/d is a great way to see how good someone is.

Agreed. All mine are over 2.00 but still K/D doesn't mean shit. Some of the greatest players have terrible K/D's.

I play the game to win, my W/L is 233.00 and my K/D is 6.74 but I also have another account that I don't care one bit about the stats on it and I just play on it to have fun and screw around with friends.
