It is pretty pointless playing the DayZ Mod this late on, i mean you can if you want to but i think it is a dead game now, i am waiting for the standalone to come out so things like hackers and glitches wont be a problem (but considering that is in beta when released, we can expect some glitches/bugs etc). If you are looking to record DayZ, make sure to record the standalone the first day it comes out with fun interesting footage that makes your channel stand out, and be very consistent because the standalone will be a new game and most people will watch videos on youtube to decide whether they want to buy it or not.

I'll play DayZ with you, I've been looking to play really bad and I'm also getting DayZ Standalone as well. I have Skype and Turtle Beach Mic, haha.

I totally wanted to wait on the DayZ standalone to come out. BUT THEY ARE TAKING TOO LONG! lol I mean its been delayed by at least 7 months already.

The absolute latest it will be is by the end of august, but most people including myself think end of this month.They have already started taking applications for the radio stations so not long now.

Rocket stated it would be no later than end of august after they had started taking applications for the radio stations, they have already starting doing that now so end of this month seems very plausible.
