Okay so I downloaded Joey Bada$$'s new mixtape, when it was finished downloading it opened up in a folder so I continued to add the songs to my iTunes library assuming they were syncing to my ipod as it usually does. When I finished I x'd out of the folder, when I checked if the songs had gone on to my itouch they hadn't so I synced again and the songs were no longer playable. I cannot find the file with the mixtape on my laptop anywhere, any help?

Are you sure the format is right?? Like is it MP3 or what because sometimes that has something to do with it

Click on computer, then in the top right there should be "search computer" put the name of the album in there and search. It will find it if it's on your computer.

if you still cant find the file you can always open the browser you downloaded it on and look at the downloads and where it saved too

such as Google chrome if you you press ctrl J you can see where the files downloaded too

If you delete your files then they could be in the Recycling bin.

iTunes is merely a shortcut to the songs. If the original one isn't there, it can't play it.
