Hi, has anyone got any suggestions as to what kind of setup I should get? I'd like to be able to render video at fast speeds. But maybe game a little too.

Budget is 255 which is $388.87 (according to google)

255 pounds isnt alot to work with, for rendering stuff a good CPU is required, and an i7 3770k costs more than your budget, which would be 'fast' for rendering

Well you did say "I'd like to be able to render video at fast speeds".
If you are wanting to get "fast" rendering speeds, i7 is ideal as it has hyper threading so it will increase the rendering speed. You have to think about how realistic you are being, you want a computer that can render and do a little gaming. Therefore you should be thinking about getting an i7 + GPU + fast RAM. This puts you WELL out of your budget and you need to decide what is more important, gaming or rendering.

There isn't alot you can do with 255...
The best i could come up with was this:
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
For the money, it's the best you could probably buy, it has four cores for decent video editing/rendering and an integrated 7560D GPU which you should be able to a bit of casual gaming on, minecraft and you may get away with playing some games on the lowest settings. The difference between what you could get if you saved a little bit more is quite big. All i'm saying is, dont rush in to anything

I wasn't implying that I wanted a top end system. I just wanted it for a bit of gaming, nothing too major and quite fast rendering.

Yes I know, but the problem is that for any gaming on current gen games, and next gen games, you will require a graphics card for it to be playable. If 250GBP is not flexible then above was suggested a build, although I think you might find yourself upgrading soon.
I assume you play XBOX/PS3 and want a computer you can use to record your gameplays and render them for youtube, and also perhaps record some PC games like minecraft.

No, I do graphics on youtube. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] but still I just want it to render out speed arts and Cinema 4D faster, I may game on it a little, but not like alot.

Ok then I suggest a good build with a GPU because you are doing 3D modelling.

Ok then I suggest a good build without a GPU, which you can add later if needed.

Ok, thanks man, anyone wanna suggest a build with a gpu then?
