It's more-so the aspect of, if they are enforcing that law, they should be the ones to follow the laws just like everyone else. What enables them to perform an act, that others are not allowed to and are ticketed for? Yes, not everyone follows the law, but that is their choice, but they aren't enforcing it upon others. On the other hand, police officers are enforcing the laws upon others, so they should be symbolizing a perfect law-abiding citizen, in which most aren't doing.

Who cares if they're not wearing seatbelt?

You're not seeing my point, i'm trying to portray. If they're enforcing something upon others, but aren't even abiding by themselves, that's a bit unfair, don't you think?

Well, in my aspect, I care if they do. If i'm going to be ticketed for talking on the phone and driving, but yet their able to do that their selves without any repercussions at all, that's unfair. If they're committing the same illegal act as me, they should be facing the same consequences, but are they? No they're not, but I sure am.

About number one: That's what I guess they call irony. There is nothing anyone can do about it, and noboy will tell them otherwise.

I have nothing to say about #2 or #3, I have NO idea about the traffic laws in the U.S.

For one the Officer should have been suspended for careless driving and about the ticket prices:

They are high because its used to deter you from doing it again. If you reall dont like the price you wont do the crime.

The officer should be suspended, but nothing will be done, because no one reports it. And even if someone did, they'd look at you and laugh.

Its not that I don't mind paying for a ticket, because if I do the crime I should be punished. It's more-so the reason of i'm paying for someones salary, which is completely irrelevant to my citation.

Where I'm from most of the cops obey the laws. Cops aren't allowed to hide when doing speed traps. For seat belts, We're required to wear them but It's like a 1/100000 chance you'll get pulled over for it because they never check. I've pulled up beside cops not wearing a seat belt and they just drive off. Only way you'll really get pulled over where I'm from is if you're going 65-70 in a 55, Acting like a dumbass, or having brake lights/tail lights out. There is this one cop that's a pain in the ass though.. She'll bust your ass for stupid stuff. I've always heard female cops are a lot more strict then male cops.

cops can be horrible man. but there not all bad. Many do abuse their powers. In fact my driving instructor told me stories about when his brother was a cop and used the siren just to get through traffic so he wouldn't be late for work. SMH

Yeap, unfortunately I've witnessed that myself. The thing that gets me the most is, just because they have acquired a badge, they think their above everyone else. So they'll talk down to you like your a child, being directed by your parents. I'm sorry, but if some person I don't know, talks down to me, cop or not, I will talk right back in the same manner. I don't take kindly to anyone that does that stuff, just because you hold that badge, doesn't make you anymore of a person than me. And it's hard to respect a person if they can't seem to offer the same for you.

Cops aren't allowed to hide?? What amazing place are you from lol. Where I live cops are total d***s that pull you over for looking at them the wrong way, and then come up with some sort of bulls*** story to shield their illegal pull-over.
