I currently have the HDPVR the regular edition, but I don't know if I should get the HDPVR2 gaming edition. The HDPVR2 gaming edition records in 1080 while the HDPVR records in 720. What would you recommend doing? Money is no issue.

Dont get HDPVR get a Elgato Mate

Black Magic Intensity Pro has done better for me then the HDPVR2 I've had both

Theres not much of a differnce other than that the HD PVR 2 supports HDMI, if you were going to get one get the HD PVR 2 (I own both).

I would prefer the HD PVR2 as it has more features than the first one.
