THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE
It might seem easy but you have to think about what the zombies are going to be able to do so I have made 3 zombie apocalypse situations about what the zombies are capable of doing. You first start at your house too!
Situation #1

Situation #1
The zombies are you average zombies most are slow some are fast and can be killed by any way a human could die. They can swim but they cant fly (obviously).
Situation #2
The zombies are the same as last time but, they all are fast and can only be shot to death.
Situation #3
The zombies can FLY!!! Scary right but they are all slow movers especially flying! Another problem is they can adapt to the environment (example: they can adapt to drive)
Have fun! But try to stay realistic!

Find a Castle like where i live, Pull the Portculis Gate thing down, scavenge everything, and gun stores nearby live from there, can grow food and also has a water source all good out here! :p

Situation 1: Would be pretty easy to hold out against but I don't know if that would even matter, depends if the human population would be able to recover from it.
Situation 2: Would be almost the same as situation 1. But you would have to use guns instead of other stuff seeing as they can only be shot and killed.
Situation 3: Sorry but I'd shoot myself. Flying zombies and they can adapt to drive, no thanks. I get that they fly slow but in a mass swarm it's not really going to matter.
So out of all of these I would take situation 1.

It just kept getting worse and worse
In situation 1, Id do about what everyone else would do. Hold out for as long as possible.
Situation 2, Id do the same as one, except have to keep tons of ammo.
Situation 3, Id pretend to be a zombie. lol Id kill myself

Well in the more basic situation I'd probably run to the end of my street and rob the convenience store for just about everything I could and I'd fortify my house and see what happens from there.

I would do the only thing that zombies can't, which you haven't mentioned. First grab enough supplies to live on for a while, set a meal plan. Fortify the house while using a shovel to dig quite deep down. Create a underground bunker. Then use unwanted equipment and the excess dirt to fill up the hole then hold out until you need more supplies.

Situation 1 - I would find a army base and hold out (Wouldnt be to difficult)
Situation 2 - Would have to figure out a device to slow the zombies down, but still would find a army base.
Situation 3 - I would gather as much food as I could, and go underground.(Probally wouldnt last long but being underground would be your only shot)
