Has anyone thought, What if the sun disappeared?
Well watch this and be amazed [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
You may of heard of Vsauce before, he is a youtuber who makes scientific videos ect.

I found it amazing that the sun provides so much heat for the earth that within one week of the sun not being there the average temperature on earth would be 0 degrees celsius and after a year it would be -70 degrees celsius!
Also that even though all plants would stop respiring and would stop giving out Oxygen, we would still survive for 1000s of years due to the amount of oxygen built up in out atmosphere.
Mind boggling!

I thought it would be cool to show everyone as it really is amazing to think about.

If the sun dissappeared, there would be no natural light whatsoever. So electricity bills would be higher, causing tax to rise. Also, plants would eventually die. This would stop cleaning our air. Meaning, over a period of time, we would all die.

But hey! It's just a thought..

We could survive, but seriously there would be mass panic and most humans will die.
There would have to be shelters built to withstand -72 degrees celsius which is -100 degrees fahrenheit. But another though is animals would struggle to live and all plants will die, so where would food come from ?

We would almost instantly enter an extreme ice age, all life would die including humans. How can you be surprised by the extreme temperature drops when there are no other natural heat sources that have a noticeable impact on the temperature of the planet?

Vsauce is by far my favorite science channel I'm subscribed to. He provides so many interesting facts that I'd never know without him
