I'm building a PC and these are the parts i have put together:

CPU: AMD FX6300 Six Core CPU 3.5GHz can be turbo'd to 4.1GHz.
GPU: Nvidia GTS 450 1GB Overclocked to 830MHz windforce edition (Taking this out of my old computer so i dont have to buy a new GPU as this is a budget build)
MOBO (recommended by r00t): GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-USB3 AM3+ socket
PSU: STORM-500W - LPJ19-25 Storm 500w PSU
RAM: I'll be taking some out of my old computer. I will eventually upgrade the RAM in the near future to some XMS3 or something along those lines
CASE: Fractal Desgin Core 1000 series
HDD: Western digital 320GB
OS: Windows 7 Professional

All this comes to around 190GBP which in my opinion is very good for a budget gaming PC.

Games i'll hope to be running:
-Battlefield 3
-Arma2
-DayZ
-Some CoDs
-Arma3
-Source engine games which run easily

I will be able to run battlefield with these specs. I've seen battlefield run on high with 60+ FPS on a system with a Pentium with a 7770.
