Basically, I've had my laptop (Dell Insprion 1545) since late February 2010 (3+ years). Recently the charger and battery broke, and my dad bought me a new set (for about 40!). Anyway, I was wondering how much longer you guys will think this laptop will last.

It depends how well you maintain the computer. If you treat it good, it could last another 3 years. Maybe more.

It depends on how you treat it, physically and in terms of the data, if you take care of a laptop the average one should last around 3 years.
