So I made a new account, purposfully lost the placement games to be placed in bronze. And heres how I stacked against everyone.

From this short experiment, my hypothesis/How to get out of your hell:
You need to be honest with yourself, that where you are placed, is where you currently belong and say to yourself, I want to improve. I want to be better then the people I play with.

Watch the pros:
Analyze closely what high level players are doing on their streams. The LCS is NOT The best thing to watch when looking for new strats or ways to improve yourself. The LCS is a premade teams tournament, where everyone is well coordinated together and listens to each other. Solo que is well... Solo que. You will not be as coordinated with your team, as you do not know their play styles. Watch the solo que's. Wingsofdeathx does an amazing job of teaching players how to play.
What NOT to do with bad team mates:
When you are playing with bad teammates, do NOT EEVERRR insult them. This can put them and possibly yourself in a few different psychological states. If you insult them, they can either be aggressive, and spend the rest of the game focusing on your mistakes and blaming you, not paying attention to his on play styles, causing them to fail more (and the same usually happens to you.) They could also be in a "prove them wrong" state. This could go 1 of 2 ways. They would either play too safe, not getting any farm, or staying away from fights. or they would try to make the 3000 elo plays, and epicly fail, trying to prove you wrong. Costing the team even more.
What to do with bad teammates:
Coach them. In a polite manor, tell them what they did wrong, and immediately after, suggest to them what they could have done. POLITELY IS THE KEY. Remember to give the advice immediately with "Next time you should-" or "Next time try-" And to tell them what they did wrong by "Be careful of-" Never ask them "Why didn't you-"
By doing this, they will reason out that what they did was logical, and will more then likely do it again.

Ward:
This is such an obvious tool, that really I don't even feel like explaining it. Heres a video.
Though, this wouldn't be a real tips guide if I didn't give my PoV on wards.
]Wards give you vision. You need vision. Therefor you need wards. You know who buys wards? "Support!" Good answer... WRRRRONNNNNGGG. If you expect a weak, defenseless support who supplies no damage to walk around warding the whole map.. No solo que for you. Even if the support did manage to get a few wards in, that would be a TON of xp loss. Everybody buys wards. I will be honest tho. More often then not, as an ADC I don't buy wards EARLY in the game. If your team isin't warding, remember to kindly suggest to them to ward, and to back off and to stop overextending when they don't have wards. And remind them that their wards have just expired. Suggest where to ward and when and having baron and dragon warded is a must. Even if they are down. Baron and dragon are HUGE traffic areas. Also when you are chasing someone in the jungle, make sure you ward the brush they are in/heading into. Don't risk getting juked. Secure the kill.
Champion Select
Do not choose a champion simply because he is not banned. Pick champions that you are best with. Try to have 3 good champions for each role, simplely because you will not always get the role you are best at. Remember that pick order is what runs in higher elo becauses that is what riot preferrs, and what players preffer, as it is the most "fair" way in SOLO que. You can't rely on call order because of connection speeds, but the real way to chose who does what is through communication. Try to pick what each player is best at or second best at.
Team Fights[/color]
To anybody that says FOCUS ADC. **** it, ignore them, They aren't going to win you that game. Just Protect, And Peel for your carry. If their carry walks up past the front lines, go ahead merk him/her. Tanks front line, Assassins behind, and Carrys are back line. Peeling and kiting. Never stray too far from the fight to kill someone running away if the team fight is close. Maybe chase ofr a second or 2, but no more then that, you'll be wasting tons of damage time, and any other single target damage you could take to split it between you and your teammates. Use ignites for the lifestealers/regeners (i.e. Fiddlesticks/Mundo) So they can't heal for more damage. Take your surroundings into account, if you are facing a strong AoE comp, don't fight in close corner areas, like hills or in a camp. If you are Stronger AoE, fight there, If you're not, fight in lane or in the river. If you are fighting in the river, Try to avoid Dragon/Baron agro, and give the agro to the enemy.

I do, lolking, but the stats are different as I ended up just selling the account.

-"I can't support" people
-People who really just suck balls (In one of my last games, i was 4-0 Vayne at the end of the laning phase, but top and jungle ended up feeding Elise to 11-0... She could kill me in 3.23 seconds)
-More **** afk's...
Please tell me more of how you "escaped" elo-hell and got to diamond in one season.
Also: I am on a ranked silver team, so meh.

You are in Diamond, but have you ever actually been in "Elo-hell"?
I have been to Bronze 1 several times, but I always manage to get moved back in elo. Every game it seems that I get:
-Afk's
-Last pick who only plays one lane (then first pick of course has to change his lane to mid, because **** them).
-"I can't support" people
-People who really just suck balls (In one of my last games, i was 4-0 Vayne at the end of the laning phase, but top and jungle ended up feeding Elise to 11-0... She could kill me in 3.23 seconds)
-More **** afk's...
Please tell me more of how you "escaped" elo-hell and got to diamond in one season.
