DZN_Melonz wrote Nope go with the PS4 Xbox One sucks! All they're gonna do is take your money and give you TV (which nobody needs)

Now explain "take you money"
Some Key Features of the xbox one and the playstation 4:

1. Ability to share your games over the internet to anyone in your "family" group that you create upon connecting to the internet.. This means anyone in your family can play idk, lets say call of duty for example, they will just have to go to your game library from their xbox and download the game.. then play! the only downside is only one account may play the game at a time. which is how its always been so that shouldn't matter.

2. The xbox ones price $$$$, For everyone saying the xbox one is over priced.. Your wrong. The xbox one comes with the kinect controller and the regular controller (the kintect is a controller after all) The kinect selling separate would be close to $100.. which would put the actual console price + controller about the same as the ps4. Now, buying the playstation move and the playstation eye will cost you around $125 ($75 for the move, and $50 for the eye).

3. Now for the consoles hardware.. The PlayStation 4 and the Xbox one will be running with almost the exact same hardware. The PlayStation 4 does sport a better ram input, GDDR5(focuses on high bandwidth, which in turn will result in high latency, OUCH!) While the Xbox one will sport a ram application of DDR3. Microsoft is winning bandwidth back for the GPU through the 32MB ESRAM (102gb/sec I believe, and assuming you're using this RAM a lot, it means that the total Microsoft bandwidth is 168gb/sec); this will even things back out a bit but require a bit of extra management by developers and it is only 32MB which limits the amount of uses. This will give the PlayStation the edge when it comes to visual rendering but Xbox one will receive an edge in the Visual Effects category. It really depends on what type of games your wanting to play. Both systems will be running with 8GB of ram. On the Xbox one there will be 4.9 GB of ram dedicated to the game. While as for ps4 they will be dedicating 5.5 GB, A slight advantage.

4. Lets talk about bonus featues for each console!!
The xbox one will come with the ability to stream tv (cable) as well as being able to switch applications MUCH faster than the playstation 4 as the xbox has an operationg system just for changing applications. What this means is that you can be watching a movie, streaming on twitch(from your xbox without any equipment!) on a skype call, playing your favorite game, and browsing the web.. AT the same time with no problems.

Now for the playstation, having the little touch screen on the controller which will aid in the game and when using applications on the internet. The playstation's controller will disappointingly not feature the motion controll of the xbox one's controller. The playstation will have a self streaming application like the xbox will, but you will only be able to stream to people on your friends list, whilst the xbox will be able to stream live to twitch.

At the end of the day you will see that the xbox one and the ps4 have the relatively SAME processing power because of the xbox one doubling the ps4 and using 32 MB ESRAM, leveling the playing field.

I hope you enjoyed!! As to which console i will be buying is which console i can get my hands on, i have pre ordered an xbox one but will gradly buy a ps4 for a few exclusives.

1. They don't have the "family" sharing thing anymore since microsoft saw their sales going down and got rid of there DRM and other stupid features.

2. Xbox is over priced. If you buy a PS4 even with the camera it's still $40 cheaper than the Xbox one, plus PS Plus is cheaper than XBL and has better features than XBL.

3. Right. PS4 does have the hardware advantage.

4. If I want Tv I can change the channel, I don't care about that. And have you seen the PS4 interface video? Its amazingly fast. And you can do things with the PS4 like download multiplayer or single player first, PlayRoom with the PS4 Eye looks really fun, its like playing with holograms that interact with you.

1. Yes they are, from what the general public knows.. not having released a statement saying they will be dropping it.

2. xbox isnt over priced, it has many more features than the ps4 and comes with a $100 kinect 2.

3. they have an advantage in movement filtering, and a disadvantage in texture filtering because of their high latency.

4. the xbox one's transition speed will dwarf the ps4's

1. It has to be dropped, because it's powered by their online database which cannot be accessed and could be abused and manipulated otherwise, it is well known that it has been removed.

2. It's extremely overpriced and everyone knows it, I don't care whether it comes with Kinect 2, I don't want a Kinect Sensor anyway, so I'm paying for something that I'm not going to use.

3. What does any of that have to do with latency?

4. Another generic fanboy statement that makes NO SENSE, congratulations!
