They are selling each Xbox with Kinect 2.0 so the devs that make games using motion control can continue their business. Its NOT pointless! you might not be into it but some gamers are. Imagine what kind of games they could make if they had funding from millions of people? and @ your other points..you need to check for new info more often. Its entirely up to game developers if they want DRM or any other restriction on their games. Considering companies like EA removed online passes it would be unlikely for them to allow DRM.
I like both consoles but will buy xbox for the social side with friends. The Xbox One is not that bad.

Im not buying the Xbox one. Im a huge gamer who goes to friends houses or has LAN party's and often find myself borrowing others games, and lending my own. With the Xbox one, I cant do that. I and the rest of my friends are already set to buying the PS4. I currently getting the money all together for it

If you think the Kinect 2.0 is creepy and that's one of the
reasons your not going to get the Xbox one , your just ignorant and completely stupid at the least.
- and also about the used game's or whatever , there making a hands on system for you
to trade in and resell etc.
- last it wouldn't hurt a two year kid too let the internet connect to the Xbox one every 24 hrs.

Xbox live is already giving away free games, Fable III is free this month (june), with halo 3 being free in july. PS+ is going to cost more, ($55/year), while xbox live is now $45/year.

PS4 is ahead alrdy.
Why I think PS4 everyones choice is because when you think of Xbox One it makes you, atleast me, freakin mad. Like the saying says if it aint broke dont fix it.
