Yes, I don't think theres going to be some Xbox One bodyguard which will physically stop you from removing the power cable if you feel that scared.

You completely missed the point and you obviously didn't read the link he posted. Let me break it down simply for you in case you have trouble understanding.
Xbox one wont work without kinect hooked up to it. it is always looking at you while you play. of coarse you can go ahead and unhook it while its off.

Actually... My bad. I am starting to like the features of the Xbox One more and more. If I am afraid of the kinect watching me, that's worse than me saying that I'm afraid of my front-face camera on my phone. The new controller features sound amazing too. CANT WAIT!!!

You beat me too it. I was just about to ask if you had a phone with a camera or a laptop/monitor with a webcam.

And to be fair i somehow doubt they have the man power to watch even 5 million xbox players, im pretty sure they've more important people/things to worry about
