Hey, I'm a student at a highschool and i was wondering why poeple in my year are getting bigger and more muscle than me, they don't work out and i was wondering if it is something to do with my DNA which is behind and thats why i'm not seeing a change to myself at all and i do lift weights and pressups/sit-ups at home but not much change. Is there anyway to help my body to get more muscle without drugs or performance enhancers? I'm 14 average size.
Average as in 32" waist.

Is this a serious post? If so then Maybe you haven't fully been through puberty my friend. Or maybe they're just doing more exercise then what you may doing now?

It's all based on your genes. Don't take it out on yourself, but if you put your mind to it and do weight training over the Summer, you're sure to get bigger. Hope you do well.

Lifting weights a few times a week at home with few sets is going to get you nowhere. Get a gym membership over the summer and find a friend to go with. Do everything in sets of threes, no matter what the weight. If you can't handle 3 sets, bump down the weight and keep on trucking.

Getting fit isn't easy; you have to work for it just like you have to work for everything else in life.

Your not working out enough, the kids in your school probably go to the gym a whole lot more than you do.
