well i downloaded gta iv and it runs really crapy and i really wana play it so if anyone could help me speed up my fps that would be great and ill send u my pc specs ill reward u if u can help pm me if u are interisted in helping me

Gta IV is so poorly optimised I wouldn't be surprised if you had the best pc in the world and still averaged 20fps.

Tell us the specs of your PC and we'll be able to tell you if you can even improve the FPS at all and if it's worth playing it on your computer.

there are certain programs to increase FPS in games. aswell as overclocking your GPU, but as mentioned GTA IV is so poorly optimized running it is a ball ache.
i spent 1200 on my build, getting top of the line parts in everything, and i run it on around 40-50FPS even drops to 30-35 when causing explosions. its pretty harsh considering i can play crysis 3 on ultra at 50+ constantly most 60+

If you or anyone for that matter want to tweak the GTA settings to allow you to go over the "recommended settings" then right click your shortcut and after where it says "target" under the properties of the shortcut then type -norestrictions and it'll unlock the ability to crank it.
