DNaDee wrote The thing I love about the Xbox One is that it does include so much extra stuff. Sure I might not always use the TV feature, but it's convenient and it's there if I wanted to. I couldn't say the same about Sony.

In the end, I think Sony is just up to their "games" again. They're definitely holding something back. They did a good job of sneaking in the part where you now have to pay to play online before they starting their spree of bashing Microsoft.

Still haven't seen their dashboard (which is actually a major selling point to me).

Overall, I think the PS4 will make a killing at launch, but the XB1 will be the better value console by the end of this generation.

In my opinion, that's what consoles should be made for, THE GAMES. All the other extras are nice but the PS4 doesn't need it, because what the xbox one is turning into is a pc, something I already have, while the PS4 is focusing on the games at hand. In honesty, you won't go on an Atari and expect to Skype chat with your friends? I think they're trying to merge their computing software into a stationary system with added perks with a controller and call it a system. Then again, there's nothing completely wrong with that and I'm going to get the system anyways, so you can't hold liking Sony more against me while reading my statements.

Microsoft unveiled more exclusives than ever today. While I do not necessarily agree with Microsoft's choice to go "pro-publisher", I can find a silver lining -- publishers will want to publish for the Xbox One. Microsoft added Skype for voice chat, this means that now you get a better quality chat experience along that's real time. You can chat with ANYONE who has Skype while playing Xbox games. You could even chat with someone who has a Vita !

I just feel like Sony isn't telling the whole story. They are in financial trouble so we'll see. Microsoft has at least won the multiplayer department with dedicated servers and locking up THE FPS "Titanfall" (idc about CoD, the guys behind the best CoD made this game)

Hahaha. I am just going to buy both systems. I like Xbox WAY better than PS but I will try them both out and the one that I don't like gets sold.

XxBig_D_FreshxX wrote Ok, being a Xbox guy, I was torn at 1st. But the facts don't lie. $100 cheaper, supports used games, doesn't have to be online. You're pretty narrow-minded if you play into Microsoft's hand. There's only going to be more & more restrictions on games, movies, etc. if you didn't think there were enough already. If you're the kind of guy who only cares for himself or wants an "entertainment" system, this console's for you. Plain & simple. If you're about others (especially mom & pop stores), you're an actual gamer who cares about "games" & think about it for just a second, you'll go for the PS4. I'm keeping my 360, but Microsoft, your time's up.

Once again, another person has no clue what he is speaking of. The Xbox One fully supports used games and is not just a gaming console, it is an all around home entertainment system built for multiple audiences and not just gamer's. Microsoft's approach with Xbox One is a very strong one, they grab the attention of the media and the general household with there all in one entertainment system then they show off it's gaming capabilities at E3. They have pulled in a completely new audience and they will retain it's die hard gamers. $100 cheaper means a low grade console build in order to make a decent profit off each console, therefore lowering it's life expectancy drastically. The Xbox One and it's revolutionary controller are truly, built to last.

No clue what I'm speaking of? Dude, you can have your "entertainment" system. And you can't call them "used" games anymore, because you're really only selling your game back to the developer/GameStop, they can't be used anymore!

You have no clue what your talking about.
I guess you haven't heard that Microsoft is working with companies to integrate into the cloud so you can buy from them on the Xbox One?
Therefore, these stores can still make money. You can buy used games, just that you either buy it on the Xbox or pay lower prices in store and buy a license.

Face it, stores won't be able to overpice games anymore.

Instead of keeping Black Ops 2 used at Gamestop for 45$ for 3 years, (MW2 is still 30$), then they would keep it lower to where they still make a profit, just not a huge margin. Everyone wins, developers get money, stores still make money and we pay less if they realize this.

JayM325 wrote Pftt, If people knew what they were talking about they would clearly know that the Xbox one is better.

Also you would also know to goto PC (like me), from Xbox 360 to PC. You can make a cheaper PC build that will still be better then either console.

The sad truth my friend.

@Wart
I like the PS4's design much better, am I a playstation fanboy wannabe hater? No. But I do agree with your statement on how the PS4 likes to copy others ideas, I'm not too fond about them doing that.
Cheers, I appreciate sensible fanboys like myself and you.

My god you people are dumb.

LISTEN UP.

The Xbox One NEEDS to be connected every 24 hours to be able to play games. Period.

It is $100 MORE expensive, and Gold is more than PS+.

The PS4 can play used games (You have to pay a fee with xbox one), and the discs are not locked to one console.

The Kinect NEEDS to be plugged in for the xbox one to function properly.

Also most of the games shown at the xbox conference are going to be released for PC anyway...

The Xbox one supports used games

The Xbox one is a home entertainment system so its ment to be used for more then Gaming

The Xbox one is $100 more but it dose alot more then the PS4 & Microsoft has alot better support then Sony dose

Microsoft also said that the Kinnect sensor can be fully turned off if people want it to be like that

Its not hard to connect to an internet connection once every 24 hours & im sure its going to give you a warning telling you to save your progress & all it dose is takes you to the dashboard

By definition, what is a "used game" from Microsoft's perspective?

Did I ever ask for an "entertainment system?" (Read my 1st post)

Explain how it "does more" for the extra $100

If they say you can turn it off, who's to say they don't turn it on themselves? It still has to be connected, even if powered off.

Don't you think that's a little "much" to always be connected online or your system doesn't work?

how can something be connected to internet if its powered off :/

I honestly can't see how people can even compare the two consoles; Xbox stole the limelight, the Xbox will appeal more to family's as it will do everything you need in one place.

It needs to be connected to the internet once a day; lets get real were living in the year 2013 99% of people that are going to buy either next gen consoles will have an internet connection thus rendering that point null in void.

The Xbox One is for the family's and the better off gamers; PS4 again is the poor mans console with it being cheaper and lack of ability compared the the Xbox One; and before some PC Gamer comes in and says you can build a more powerful PC with the same cost; congrats have a medal; believe it not some people prefer console gaming to PC gaming.

You people are stupid. You can only buy PS+ membership of Sony which is $5 a month. However, anyone can sell MS membership and people sell year codes for under $40
