Thinking of getting one and maybe upgrading the processor and the RAM to 8GB

Is it worth the money as its almost 1000

they're basically dell laptops with lights and an alienware logo on it.

True desktops are better and i already have one but I want something portable with decent specs to play games on

by the way im not a hardcore pc gamer i dont play games like bf3 and GTA IV

My advice is that it cost much more than a Toshiba or Asus ( or other brands )and it has less performance than a Toshiba or Asus ( or other brands )that are at the same price.

Also in case you didn't know, Alienware is a subsidiary of Dell. And i am not much of a Dell fan.

you could build something on a mini/micro atx form factor and case

Ill look into it and i know its a branch of dell but I like dells so.....
so ill look into other companies thanks for the support to everyone
