I can see why they're doing it and I personally am not that fussed by it. I don't play my xbox unless I have live.

everyone is hating at what has been shown and said at the Xbox One reveal. It was to reveal what the system was capable of and what was different from it's predecessor, this includes Kinect, Operating Systems and a few games. They have a wide audience which is why it includes other entertainment besides games. People shouldn't be mad, E3 shows the games off and what customers should be excited for. Microsoft want to show to good stuff at E3. I think the games on the Xbox One will be brilliant. Anyway what would a console completely aimed at games do differently? Just better graphics and processors. If you want that get a PC because that gives you those options. I will definately get The new xbox as long as it is affordable.

Give your games to friends: Xbox One is designed so game publishers can enable you to give your disc-based games to your friends. There are no fees charged as part of these transfers. There are two requirements: you can only give them to people who have been on your friends list for at least 30 days and each game can only be given once.

Man this is gonna be an absolute FAIL. Hopefully they'll have something to make up for this or I'm sticking with my 360.

Why is Microsoft doing all this crap?
They are pretty much trying to make the Xbox 1 the all in one entertainment electronic. So basically they want you to buy this so it enhances your normal television. To be honest. I think that Microsoft has lost hundreds of thousands, if not millions of customers due to this. I won't be buying it. I will get the ps4. When it comes out.
same here why bring out a console for 700 pounds and sell games for 55 pounds each if its ment to be the new sky machine to be honest they havnt only lost customers they have lost a crap ton of money aswell because why would you buy this

Well now that it's official I'm glad everyone can see. We'll just have to wait and see what price Xbox One games are priced at, hopefully nothing ridiculous.

Conquistador wrote This info is directly from the Xbox One website. Really disappointing:

EDIT: This is not fake! To all of you who believe so, check out the link provided in the bottom left corner of the picture which links directly to their website. It is simply compiled into this picture for easier viewing. Here's the link if you were wondering, copy and paste it and look for yourself: news.xbox.com/2013/06/main

Additional notes: To those of you saying "I have internet, this won't affect me". Maybe, but you have no idea how anti-consumer this is. If you go to a hotel on vacation or someone's house in the country etc. with no Wi-Fi you won't be able to play anything, not even single player campaign. And worse our military on leave at sea, on naval ships, or many in Afghanistan won't be able to play any games with their buddies to blow off steam because there likely won't be an internet connection available for 4-5 months.

This is not from Microsoft you idiot. It was made by a community artist who was disappointed with the Xbox One. The fact that you honestly think this is real is hilarious . Microsoft would not openly disgrace there own console.
