MobOfTheDead wrote Now, before you brainwashed people automatically reply with, "LOL YOU DUMB SONY FANBOY GO PLAY YOUR PLAYSTATION!!!! :trollin: :trollin:" I've never owned a PS3. I'm a proud owner of an Xbox 360. But, this "next gen" Xbox One isn't a video game console. If you're honestly thinking about buying this I feel awful for you. They're are now making it completely ridiculously difficult to play your games anywhere but your own house. If your friend wants to borrow a game, he can play it once and never again. They've completely screwed up on everything about this console. If you're internet goes out for a week, no Xbox for a week. If you have below a 12 Mbps internet speed, you won't be able to enjoy yourself. So, for anyone who lives out in the country, or uses satellite internet like Hughes Net, good f*cking luck. There's 8GB of ram. Only 5 goes towards gaming. That's not that impressive for "next gen". Honestly, for those of you brainwashed by Microsoft, and are going to buy this next console, you are the people who are ruining the future of video games. I understand this post will get nothing but hate, because people just love this console when they've done no research but watch the reveal.
I think you're missing the point. NONE of these so called updates have been confirmed by Microsoft. Everyone needs to wait till E3 or wait until Microsoft release some details before throwing accusations about. Although, IF these are true, then Xbox One has failed big time in my eyes.

Don't expect anything to be as good as the Xbox One for less than $750. That'll get you something with better parts, sure, but remmeber xbox games are NCREDIBLY HEAVILY optimised, you have to make up for that too. Also, with the inevitablity of a 7xxx series GPU, you're going to need a powerful PC anyway.

More less, this is the new generation, the consoles are gonna be better, run faster etc...

People are gonna buy the Xbox one, they're the proud owner of the xbox 360, they may had the very first xbox ever made, so they want to keep stacking up on them...

They made the xbox one more family suitable (i think).

CMYK_ wrote Wow....just wow.....

It wont be a gaming console??

How so?

8gb RAM and only 5gb used for gaming.
So what...The RAM will not effect the gaming side of it, the RAM is simply there for the multitasking.

Wont be able to let my friend use my games?
I dont care, my friends can actually afford to purchase the games anyway.

If internet goes out for a week...no games for a week....

Well I have had no intetnet outage for the past 3 years so I think Im safe.
If it does happen I have a Mobile Internet connection I can use to log on.

12Mbps or youre screwed??
HAHAHAHAHA dont talk rubbish, a Basic 1.5 connection will have you connected, but, online play will be same as with any other console. Better connection is always better.

And to all the people saying they wont get one.....I bet you will.

Every time something new comes out people say they wont get it and it will be terrible....and 90% of the time they are wrong.
HAHAHAHAHA dont talk rubbish, a basic 1.5 MBps = 12Mbps.

It's not a DVD player, It IS a gaming console.

It wouldn't have the specs it does if it wasn't mean't to play games.
