Two Tamarac schools were safely evacuated Monday as the Broward Sheriff's Office bomb squad investigates a suspicious device found outside Millennium Middle School, authorities said.
At about 3:45 p.m. the school resource officer reported that a suspicious device that looked like an explosive device had been found at the school, Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue spokesman Mike Jachles said. Officials located the device in between two buildings outside, authorities said.
About 1500 students from Millennium Middle School were immediately evacuated, and about 250 students from Challenger Elementary School next door were also evacuated as a precaution, Jachles said.

ya, but isn't it kinda sad that we have come to this? i think ever since columbine, we have been living in fear of another school shooting, only to have VT and SHEL to great-en and deepen our fears.

What if the suspicious device exploded? That would of been a mess.

Im kinda curious what it is but who would put a bomb or anything in a middle school? Than again, why did they shoot up Sandy Hook?

I'm gonna get hated on for saying this but, I don't care. "Sandy Hook was a plot by the U.S. Government to try and ban guns. Not one person died inside of that school on that day." It is backed by evidence if you don't believe me look it up.

Our school went into lockdown because a kid said he saw 2 kids with a gun... well he made it all up. His lie brought k9's, 15+ cop cars, and the swat team to the school

At least the correct precautions were taking. That would be devastating to see on the news. People that would do such a thing deserve to be strung up IMO.
