I think they should maybe go in the direction of an MMO. There was talk a while back that sledge hammer games was developing this but with MW3 it was put on hold and nothing came out. I think they should make a modern combat style game similar to Planetside. You may make a character, choose a faction(Team) and you will fight for that team for control of a incredibly large map. On the map is thousands of players from each faction. There might be a $5-$10 monthly fee.

In this day and age, it would not be possible to have this on a console. Maybe with the new Xbox One, this might be possible, but who knows?

In this day and age, it would not be possible to have this on a console. Maybe with the new Xbox One, this might be possible, but who knows?

It is possible for PCs to run this as they already have Planetside that has thousands in one server. The question is can the new consoles handle the body count of hundreds if not thousands of players on the screen at the same time.
