I really don't like all the Fast & Furious movies, but the new one coming out just looks ridiculous.

So many things are so unrealistic, for example, in one scene in the trailer of the movie, one of the characters attaches some sort of hook to a C-130 A FREAKING C-130 ( just in-case you didn't know, those are huge cargo transport aircraft ) and then pulls the whole entire plane down with a crappy old car that has been given engine sound effects.

Really, they aren't even racing anymore, it is more like " vehicular warfare ' as one of the characters in the trailer described it.

Fast and Furious has never been about 'Just racing'.

Also, it's a film, if we were going to complain about inaccuracies in action films, why not complain about Die Hard, let's kill a helicopter with a police car?

I agree they are milking the series, at the end of the day it's just a film.
Tokyo Drift was the best, imo.

Haha. However, I never said it was always about racing. And yes I see what you are saying about Die Hard, but it has not been on my mind for the last week or so unlike F&F because I see one of it's ads every commercial break.

the film makers of F&F are trying to get as much money from people as possible before people start getting bored of them. I can see where you're coming from, the realism is tipped off the scales and back again but its their choice and they think people will enjoy it more because it is more action packed.

Never really watched the F&F series, but many others including myself don't really care if movies are realistic or not, as long as it is entertaining.

If it is not entertaining, I don't watch.

Pretty simple in my opinion. If you don't like it, don't watch it.

But I know what you are saying.

That wasn't a C-130. C-130s don't have jets, technically. They're tuboprops. It was a C-17.

But I see what you mean. A car probably wouldn't do much to a C-17 on takeoff, especially since it looked like the cars were going the same direction as the plane.

AAmbitionsIsBack wrote Well holy sh!t. Don't watch the movie and quit crying. Not all movies are realistic kid, get with it.

This is funny. You tell me to quit crying in the Rant Section. How about you go ahead and tell that to everyone else who's posted a topic in this section.

You don't have to get that mad about it. Unless you have anger problems, then you don't need to get that mad.

Have a good day.
