3-5-2 Formation

So last few games i have played online have been people playing 3-5-2 which from what i see and how they play is beyond terrible, I really hope this gets removed from the game.
I was just casually skilling my way down the wing with Mcgeardy when behind me i have Kompany, Rameries, alba, boteng.. Every game i have played in division 1 has just been hybrid teams with pace abusing defense / midfield which they just contain with :facepalm:
I tried playing a game with 3-5-2 and even in balanced the whole of midfield and defense is my half when i am attacking.. Why is this formation even " tactical" ???
Whats your views on this terrible formation?

3-5-2 formation is the best formation on the game...

I second that, all I use is 3-5-2 now, it has good control in the midfield for me, and is pretty good on the counter-attacks. It's the perfect formation

I feel like its just too defensive for me, It really puts me off playing online a lot of the time.

I think my record with my 3-5-2 teams is about 30-4-5

I don't like 3-5-2 either, no matter what players I use it just doesn't work or feel right...
I prefer to use 4-3-2-1 that's the best formation for ME, so i guess it's just preference...

It annoys me alot too, so I started using it myself
Easily though, my favorite formation is 3-4-1-2 it works so well for me.

you can play 3-5-2 with slow defenders & still not have to worry about many counters, while using the 3-5-2 formation this is the only time I have noticed a players workrate, so making a team with good workrates is advisable

See my record with 4-2-1-2 is 101-3-27.
I just find that 3-5-2 is just so slow to do anything with!

It all depends on the team. here are my 3 teams, and I have no trouble winning with any of them.

All of them are great in the midfield, and all but the bpl/belgium one have a pacey defense.
