all my stuff has been deleted and when i try and do something like download my profile again it comes up with - To create or download an Xbox LIVE profile, you must have an X60x 360 storage device. but i have my hard drive in ,some one help plzzz

Try unplugging it and plugging it back in, see if that does anything. Might not be plugged in all the way.

Your hard drive might have got corrupted somehow not too sure

If you have any USB's plug them in, and if not just mess around with your hard drive and check and see if it is still intact.

i have kept taking it out and putting it back in and switching the plugs off but nothing is happening

I think your hard drive might have died. Do you have a transfer cable? If you do plug you hdd into your computer and see if you can hear/feel it run/spin/vibrate. If you dont then it is highly possible its dead.
