my xenon wont turn on and the power supply turns red when i press the power but works in my retail any suggestions on how to fix this?

Sounds to me like your xenon is getting bad power. If you soldered anything try to undo it and see if it powers on.

i already tried unsoldering some wires (nothing important) its my friends and he got it from icy tank and somehow he managed to butcher the 12v fan hack and it hasnt been the same since

I think he might have blown a cap or resistor. The best way to find out is to take a voltage meter and see if there is power going through all parts of the board. I suggest sending it in to someone that will be able to do that because it can get very difficult test every single point.
