So I am new to Halo 4 and don't know how the leveling up works. I became stuck at 50 for a while until I noticed that my rank wasn't changing, then I found out about the specializations. How do they work. Do I basically just change spec each 10 or 15 levels or something and it allows me to continue ranking or what?

There are 8 specializations total. Each one gives you unique armor, unique weapon skin, and unique perk. Each one also allows you to level up 10 more levels. Max level is 130.
