Just something I was thinking about, like there is the Speed of Light which is 'c' so shouldn't there be a speed of darkness? Since Darkness is the absence of Light is it not instantaneous as Light is only photons blocking Darkness? Or is the speed of darkness = the speed of light since it appears as fast a s light goes.

Does the speed of Darkness even exist?

Darkness being the absence of light means that it's always everywhere, it has no speed.

But if you really want an answer of speed then think of a place where Darkness is growing and light is leaving, then it would be going the speed of light.

So no speed or speed of light. Pick one.

Wouldn't it just be the exact same speed as the speed of light??

I was thinking this as instantly after light disappears, darkness comes equally as quick. Maybe light photons are just constantly blocking darkness and dark is a constant.

What you see is light reflecting into your eye that has refracted of an atom/atoms.
If you turn of a light the beam will speed away from the atom at the speed of light as it moves away, the dark will follow but it has no speed it is simply an object/atom that can't be seen because light is not present.

EDIT: Light moves dark does not, in a sense dark is always there.
In the dark, light/photons isn't present to be refracted of the reasonably 'still' atoms.

It can be quite a confusing topic, so are you saying darkness cannot exist without light? If so wouldn't it be the same both ways?

Darkness only exists if light is not present.
Darkness is atoms that light is not being refracted of, so darkness does not move since atoms are still.

If you can't understand me, it's fine.
