I have to ask cause I'am not fully sure if it is or if it isn't, I have to file a police report cause some kid scammed me out of my jtag =/ and idk if a jtag is considered illegal o_O anyone have any ideas?

Yes JTAG's are illegal so be careful how you word it to the police, maybe say you sold him an xbox but I would not mention that it was a JTAG

technically yes it is illegal but actually it is your fault for being dumb enough to get scammed, im not callin you dumb im saying its really hard to get scammed if you have common sense.

Cause i've heard ppl say that jtags aren't illegal only if they have burned games without the orignal discs, but others say that it is illegal o_O I need deff proof b4 i go try to explain it to the police lol
I see what you mean, but its hard to find someone who will fix a E 79 error, When i found a guy I tested his knowledge of jtags and he had vouches o_O to me that seems legit but I still took it carefully, Payed as a service, and now i'am disputing it, For a month he'z been working on it and now he won't even respond to me, I am the one guy out of like 30 ppl he did work for that he has scammed =/ Lucky me

Yes it is very illegal, because you have modified microsoft's console, which is illegal with out their permission!

I know a jtag breaks microsoft's Terms of service but that doesn't mean that its illegal o_O
