Last night I was haut about to watch the ESEA cs 1.6 stream and then all of a sudden my pc turned off. I unplugged to make sure the psu was ok. I tested it with the paper clip and it turned the fans on. But when I turn the computer on it will turn te fans on for like 1/10 second but it only does that everyone hour or so any other time I try I get no response.

Sorry for any spelling mistakes I'm on my iPhone and at work so it auto corrects maybe to a different word

Do you get any beep codes on power on?
Just because a PSU starts up with no or little load doesn't mean that is not the cause

What brand is the PSU and MOBO?

Quick test:
unplug ram from ram banks, turn on computer. If no beep codes, your motherboard is bad.

I dont mean to be rude, but that isnt entirely correct as certain ASUS boards have no speaker and won't beep even if the CPU or RAM is removed, just to make you aware.

Any other PCI-E sockets on the mobo? if so try one of those but it does sound like a PSU issue.
How old is it and are have you been running it at close to full load alot?
