Ok, so i used to ride brakeless becuz i bmx street... but i got a gyro and put it on and hate it! I wanna take it off, but my parents wont let me... i cant even bar spin with the thing on...

HELP!

first, how old are you...this will affect my answer. If youre 15-18 do whatever the **** you want. Brakes suck.

You're going to look like a **** retard when you go around town using your feet to stop. If you're going to remove them then at least have another bike for riding around town.

Firstly I agree with your parents not for your safety so much but if you are in town and cause an accident your parents will be sued as I guess you are under 18

I very doubt he'd get sued for not having a proper break, unless he runs someone/something over.

THIS, but if like me, you only ride park and street then just say i don't travel on it or if you do just say that you travel along at a steady pace and don't bomb hills etc. my parents are just cool with it tbh
Plus you can say that you can stop just as quick brakeless than you can with a brake

Wear a helmet in agreement that you can take them off. But if you are new and can't even bunny hop you will look like an idiot. Get one of the designer helmets?
