I just purchased a new laptop with Windows 8.

Its pretty confusing to me, Is there anything I should know about it?

Does anyone have tips or apps to download?

I will check that out in a bit. Will it work on one user or entire computer?

That program is great but it is a little more expensive than it should be. I would sudgest [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] because start8 will run in the background as a service but but this program is intergrated more deeply. It is also $2 cheaper which is always a plus.

The entire computer. It's $5 after 30 days though, which isn't alot for how much easier it makes my life..but it may be for some people.

In windows 8 the corners of the screen are everything Move the mouse to the top right to open the charm bar, this contains settings and general things about the opened app. For example if you were in emails and opened the charm bar it would bring up options for your emails. Top left and pull mouse down shows all opened apps and bottom left opens the start menu. When in the start menu just type to search for an application or a setting like my computer. It takes quite a bit of getting used to but i find it much easier and faster than windows 7
