Before my Spring Break began, one of my teachers began talking about life and what is required to sustain it.
We brought up a point about life on other planets, and he said that the universe is too extensive not to have life on other planets.
Personally, I never really gave it much thought. We'll never be able to travel far enough to find it because of the time it takes to travel while in space. You would die before even being able to make any sort of attempt.
I think that there could be life on other planets. Not saying there is, but like stated: with the size of space, nobody knows what could be out there.
Of course, this is just my opinion. Just curious. What do you guys think?

I definitely believe in there being life on other planets. I'm not sure how far away, but I can definitely see it being true and not being shocked. Space is way too big for there to just not have anything else living in it besides us. I'm not sure how far we'll get into discovering more things but I can tell that it will take a really long time.

Simple enough. Wait until the year 10191 which is the year we will be able to fold space, probably sooner. We will be able to do this by spice melange that exists only on one planet. This planet is Arrakis, also know as Dune. *Instrumental strings telling plot twist*

I believe that aswell. The size of space, I think its nearly impossible to not have life on other planets. Then again, how do we know there are planets out that far? Or better yet, any type of matter?

I do believe that there is life on some other planet in the universe but I also for some reason believe in a multiverse which means in another universe you could be Batman for example.

Well i dont know if you guys heard but in NASA is sending up people that want to go to mars and start building a city for us to live on should happen in about 9 years dont believe me look it up pretty cool!

Well the thing is that first Mars is to close to the sun to sustain life with 1 major factor being that it does have an atmosphere but it does not reflect out some UV rays like ours does in turn making it to hot to live. SO that means that either NASA is full of idiots or it is a lie. :coffee:
