This is just an opinion BUT... I believe if you have less than a year on TTG then you shouldn't have that by now. TTG doesn't post enough "News Comments" in a year for you to get 1000 comments within the year. That would necessarily mean that you spam the POOP out of the home page news just to get a badge. I have seen a few people like this and it's quite agitating.

Yeah, im trying to go for it and only have around 90 news comments. I only comment on the things that interest me.

The badge in general is bad, its just screaming people to spam for it, sure it gets the section active but 9 out of 10 there is spam posts.

I agree.

Like this badge takes the least amount of anything to do. If you can spam words related to the title you get it.

Not sure why it's even called "Most Valued"...

I don't think that it should be a whole badge, I think that they should add another star-bar under the forum's bar and do the same thing with comments.

I really agree with you. Most are just spams, and really annoying ones about arguing and stuff. I don't even have any news comments, I will once I finish my goal on posting atleast 100 post on my first day.

It's there to encourage people to comment in the news section more often because before it was dead. Although you're right, now it is just being spammed in for the badge.
