Cen wrote Don't buy that. Biggest waste of money ever. For $1000 you could get a better computer.

Also, never buy 1 at a time - new tech comes out much faster than you'd think.
build a better one i think thats a bit of exaggeration its like same why buy a Lamborghini when you can buy a ford escort lol. but it would be future proof for a while?

Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core
Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H ATX LGA1155
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600
HIS IceX2 Radeon HD 7970 3GB x2
Total: $1187.92

Costs $5000 less and will perform better in games.
well how does that work out then

How does what work out?... It performs better for less money.
its never like that i think your exaggerating here your telling me that will run faster then a evga sr-x dual xenon 3x sli gtx 580 hydro edition dont think so

Not exaggerating at all. The 580 gets choppy with 3way SLI and it's beat by the 7970 every time. You don't know what your talking about.
lol ok then if it was like that people would not build computers with 3 gtx titans or duel xeons 3 580s if they can get one for 1000

A GTX Titan >>>>>>> GTX 580. You seriously don't have any idea what you're saying. Also, you're right, no one DOES build a computer with dual Xeons. Get a clue, buddy.

I'm building a new PC becuase mine right now is quickly becoming a crap shoot. Stuck with >2.0 GHz and two gigs of ram. It isn't cutting the slack.

My budget is roughly $1,500. I have an idea but obviously it sucks and I'm an idiot so I'm looking for some advice. Here is the initial 'draft'.

i need to get an idea your the one saying your an idiot and don't have a clue lmao

That was half a year ago when I had no idea what I was saying, like you. The video you linked is a show-off of 680's in SLI.

The GTX Titan > GTX 680, and >>> GTX 580.

If you really want, you buy that computer. You're not pissing away anyones money but your own.

Jealous of you spending $8000 for a crappy computer? You have a weird definition of jealousy.

To cut a long story short....you build that machine and you are seriously wasting money.

All if will be good for it showing how much money you had.

You would never use it to its full ability.

Like getting a Ferrari to do a milk round

Xeon's aren't for gaming builds, especially not two.

No one is trying to offend you here, You asked for other peoples opinions and when they just tried to help you got mad. This machine is ridiculously overkill and you are spending way too much money. There is no need for half the things you are buying like a two socket motherboard.
