I couldn't tell you that. That all depends on how fast/hard the guys at redsn0w are working to get past the 6.1.3 software. I'd say it could be out anytime from within a week to maybe even a couple months. When iOS 6 was released they didn't release an untethered jailbreak until 6.1.1 was released.

Yeah, I feel you. That's how I was when iOS 6 came out and I was stuck with the tethered jailbreak for a few days before I just un-jailbroke it because I was annoyed lol

I highly doubt they are going to release another jailbreak for 6.X.X firmwares. iOS 7 isn't that far and they would be wasting exploits by doing that.

Very good point. Is iOS 7 set to release before fall?

I'm considering not bothering now. I like to be able to update my Apple devices and keep them fresh. iOS 7 sounds exciting to me; way more so than tweaking the operating system to really not achieve that much. I only wanted to Jailbreak initially so I could cheat The Simpsons: Tapped Out.

Yeah, I use it for downloading free songs, apps, and Pandora. Not much, but I know a lot about it and what I can do with it if I wanted to get more into it. It's not for everyone and I agree, the more OS updates released the better it sounds!

Pandora isn't available in the UK and unfortunately, Spotify isn't free anymore. That kind of sucks as my iPhone is only 8gb. If I download 'free' apps using a Jailbroken device, when I update to the next iOS will those apps still be there? If so, I might Jailbreak my iPhone 4 eventually.

No, when you update you will have to unjailbreak it and when you do that you lose those apps. Although it shouldn't be hard to get them back.
