Eating and working are 2 different things. I have not worked at mcdonalds but I have worked at Carl's jr for 5 months before. I applied online they got back to me within a week scheduled an interview, went there did the interview got the job. If you don't get a response or call then they more and likely denied your application. If a month passed by they denied your application, but will still keep it on file in case of shortage on employees.

Edit: If you live n the UK the pay is: Under 18 (4.30GBP) 18-21(5.00GBP) abd if you're 21 or older (6.30GBP)
