That is better then my set-up and mine runs minecraft fine so i would say yeah it would?

You might need a better graphics card. What type of settings do you plan for playing minecraft on?

You should get max FPS if not at least a steady 40. I only have a dual core with 6GB RAM and I get a steady 35 FPS at max settings.

Yes, that should work, the recomended I think is 2.6 GHz with 4gb of Ram, but texture packs are out of the question
