Introduction
I have created this guide because I cannot find another one on this forum. I've also created this guide because there are a load of people asking questions on what equipment to buy etc. Remember the following guide is only a guide for the PHAT consoles, which is not SLIM. I have not RGHed a Slim console and therefore not writing a tutorial about it.
To do a RGH hack you will need some soldering skills, and if you don't have any I suggest practicing on a destroyed motherboard (for example a RROD Xenon, remote etc) because some of the points you have to solder are pretty tiny.
Before I begin the programs, RGH methods are not created by me and credit goes to their creators.
Finding out if your Xbox is RGHabble
Firstly you have to check if your xbox is possible to RGH, and if it is then which equipment will you need.
Check which motherboard you have

When you have found what motherboard you've got we need to check which Dashboard Version you have, you can do this by going System>Console Settings>System info. By looking at this images you can determine which method you are going to use and if your Xbox 360 is RGHable.

The difference between RGH1 and RGH2
Both of these methods have the same outcome(That you can run unsigned code), RGH1 is more stable than RGH2 is. RGH1able only have one CB which means obtaining the CPUKEY(necessary to create a ecc image) is not that hard, but if your have to go with a RGH2, it is a split CB, which can mean that some of the boot times will be slower.
Equipment, software needed
I will not give any links to any sites which sell these products , you can find them yourself
Equipment which is necessary
Torx 10 and 8 screwdriver (to open the xbox)
Soldering iron (pref 15w)
Solder
Flux (makes soldering MUCH easier)
Desolder(If you fail on a point while soldering, this will come in handy)
Kynar wire
Xbox 360 which is RGHable
SPI Programmer (Nand-X, Matrix Programmer, JR Programmer) ( If you are just going to RGH less than 10 consoles then i suggest getting a JR Programmer, it does the job correctly and is cheaper)
A Glitcher (Matrix Glitcher v2, Coolrunner, CR3 Lite )

Dumping your Nand
Finally we are going to begin soldering when you have all your equipment. The following diagram shows you which wires to solder to the motherboard. (If you have bought a Xecuter JR Programmer, cut the end of wires which came with the product itself. Those wires are used for QSB. Which stands for Quick Solder Board. )

When you finished soldering the points plug the programmer to the computer. Plug a power source to the Xbox 360 without turning the Xbox on. Open Jrunner and press on Read Nand. The computer should begin reading your nand, when finished it will save a nanddump1.bin.
Read 2 nands from your console and compare them so they match.
Soldering the Glitcher to the motherboard
As said there are different Glitcher Boards, choose the Glitch board which you bought and follow the diagram.

For non-Jaspers:
LK1 - Short the points
LK2 - Leave alone
LK3 - Leave Alone (Short if using RGH1 wiring)
LK4 - Leave alone
For Jaspers:
LK1 - Short the points
LK2 - Short the points
LK3 - Leave Alone (Short if using RGH1 wiring)
LK4 - Leave alone
For all phats:
-8 switch (S2) dip: Set one and five on (up position) and the rest off. Then later try combos of 2,3, and 4, and 6,7,8 (2 on at a time) if you want to try to improve glitch times.
-6 switch (S4) dip: Set 1 on and the rest off. Then later try different ones on (one at a time) if you want to try to improve glitch times.
-Set the operation switch to "Phat" (if you have slow times try "Slim" later) )
Writing ecc to obtain your CPUKey
Now when you have soldered all the wires and got your nand, it's time to get your CPU Key.
1. You do this by selecting your nand on source file.
2. Press on "Create ECC", a window should pop up, click on the motherboard you are using.
3. Jrunner should begin writing your ecc to a folder, when it is done, select the ECC file which has been created on "Source file". Then press on write ecc.
4. When this is done, unplug the SPI Programmer from the Xbox 360 and connect the fan, Component Cable and Power Cable to your xbox 360. It's time to obtain your CPUKEY. Connect your internet to your Xbox to get your CPUKEY easier.
5. Boot the Xbox 360 by pressing on "DVD Drive Eject button". XELL Reloaded should start to boot up.
6. When done your should get this image [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
7. When it has finished getting the cpu/dvdkey. Go on your computer, turn on JRUNNER and type in the Network Config from the Xbox 360 "192.168.1.##" in XBOX IP, and press "Get Cpukey".
Finally, Creating/Writing the Freeboot image
1. As usually, add your original Nand to the Source File.
2. On the right corner, press on "Dash Version", and press on "Add Dash" to your preferred Dashboard. The Dashboard should begin downloading. When finished tick on "Dashlaunch Patches".
3. Press on Create Image, your image should be created and put into your output folder.
4. When done add the image to "Source File" and press on Write Image.
5. After this you can unplug everything, solder away the Nand points and reassemble the Xbox 360. Just boot your xbox 360 as normally and your new Dashboard should begin.

With the new ECC files, yes you can RGH. Download the latest JRunner. When you have read your nand, press Advanced (On JRUNNER) and Write ECC >14719.
