I do that too its wierd like this one time I fell off a building and right when I hit the ground I shot out of bed, it was freaky lol

I think its the feeling from crossing from reality to sleep. When you wake up its like you pull all of your chords from the socket like the charge it gives off when you see the static. Picture that in your mind thats the only way I can explain this is by that so I would imagine you pull yourself from the deep somehow?

I once had a dream where I woke up and couldn't breath and I couldn't yell out for help. I then woke up and my throat was extremely dry. It felt like someone had tried to choke me in my sleep cuz my throat hurt so bad.

yea the other night i dreamt about ugly spiders and it felt really and i was dreaming of my room and that they were there and i immediately woke up and checked haha
