Same thing happened to my Turtle Beaches, now I just use the cheap mics.

x11s or x31s. The x"2s are not as good as the first edition. Avoid them.

I paid like 30 pounds for a really good pair when MW3 came out.
There called Giotek 0.5 i think.
There still working even now and im really pleased to say there still working perfect.
There just like the Turtle Beach X11's.

Don't get Turtlebeaches they break all the time. Get Tritons or Astros(if they're in the price range your looking for)

your best option is going on ebay, I've used turtlebeach for years now seem to work fine for me.

I highly recommend Turtle Beach X12's. I've had them for quite a while now and I've never had a problem with them. Footsteps on games are very clear and the all round sound is excellent. I got mine for 40 pounds.

Ive personally owned MANY headsets including the A50's but i sold them on as i prefered my A40's and would recommend them to EVERYONE but if your after a budget of $80 go for a headset which is not Turtlebeach at least
